Chinnamasta is a powerful goddess who represents the ultimate sacrifice of the ego for the attainment of spiritual enlightenment. Her worship is said to grant devotees spiritual liberation, courage, and strength. Appearance: Chinnamasta is depicted as a goddess with a severed head, holding her own head in her hand. She has three eyes and a fierce expression, and is often shown standing on the body of her consort, Shiva.
